Emergency Medicine Physicians (EMP)

BagnoiDr. Bagnoli serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for EMP, overseeing day-to-day operations of the company. Under his leadership, EMP has expanded from an emergency department staffing company to a multi-faceted business structure encompassing a management organization that provides medical practice back office operations, a third party collections company, a medical malpractice insurance organization, and several associated companies and investments that complement EMP’s core business.

Dr. Bagnoli’s success as an entrepreneur and business visionary has been recognized through numerous industry awards, such as the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and recognition by Harvard Business Club of Northeast Ohio for outstanding entrepreneurship. In addition, he has led EMP to be ranked as the Weatherhead 100 Fastest Growing Companies, honored as the Best Employer in Ohio, and as Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare in the US for the last five years.

Dr. Bagnoli is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine, a Fellow in the American College of Emergency Physicians, a Fellow in the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. He holds a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and a Doctor of Medicine from Wright State University School of Medicine. He served his internship and residency at Akron General Medical Center.

Awareness

Vaccine efficacy against vulvar infection with HPV 16/18 was comparable to the efficacy found against cervical infection 4 years after vaccination, according to researchers with the National Cancer Institute.
