Carolyn Muller, MD

University of New Mexico Cancer Center

MullerDr. Muller is Professor and Chief of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of New Mexico. She is a trained physician-scientist who has served as scientific reviewer for several National Institute of Health and Development of Defense Scientific committees. She has been a practicing gynecologic oncologist for over 16 years and has a research emphasis on ovarian cancer clinical trials.

She completed her fellowship in gynecologic oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX.  She is a member of several organizations, including the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Society of Gynecologic Oncology and the Gynecologic Oncology Group.

Spotlight

Elizabeth Young isn’t afraid to jump for a cause no matter how high. As a survivor of cervical cancer, Young empowers women through skydiving, running marathons and giving back to the cause. This year is no different with her second skydiving event Mother’s Day Weekend.

Awareness

September is Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month.  After creating the month in 1999, the Foundation strives to bring attention about these cancers through public awareness campaigns.
