Chad Hamilton, MD

HamiltonDr. Hamilton is the Gynecologic Oncology Service Chief and Fellowship Program Director at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda MD. He is the Co-Director and Principal Investigator of the Department of Defense Gynecologic Cancer Center of Excellence and co-chairs the National Cancer Institute / Walter Reed Gynecologic Cancer Working Group.

He completed his fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Stanford University and the University of California, San Francisco and is currently on active duty with the United States Air Force. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal while deployed to Craig Joint Theater Hospital, Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan, in 2008 and subsequently has been twice awarded the Meritorious Service Medal. He remains active in the Society of Gynecologic Oncology and is a strong supporter of the Foundation for Women’s Cancer.
