Susan Bornstein

SBornstein-colorMs. Bornstein has spent 30 years working in the publishing and media industry as a marketing professional and writer. Much of her career has been spent at Condé Nast, working on various brands including Vogue, Allure, Condé Nast Traveler and Gourmet. Currently, she is the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing for Condé Nast Licensing, where she works with various brands across the company on licensing partnerships including commerce.

In honor of her mother, Ellie Bornstein’s courageous battle with uterine cancer, Susan is dedicated to helping raise awareness and funds to provide additional resources in the detection and prevention of women’s cancers. She is a graduate of Tufts University and lives in Westchester, New York with her husband and two daughters.

Spotlight

After surviving cancer, women look for a community of support and guidance. In a video produced by the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, survivors share how they live and thrive after endometrial cancer. As described by one survivor, “You can get better.”  

Awareness

September is Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month.  After creating the month in 1999, the Foundation strives to bring attention about these cancers through public awareness campaigns.
