Take a break with yoga at West Palm Beach Course
The Survivors Course provide survivors, caregivers and friends with valuable information on sexual recovery after cancer, symptom management and resilience, as well as an opportunity for attendees to relax their minds and bodies.
Yoga instructor Linda Scheele provided a “Restorative Yoga Break” during the lunch break from 12:15 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. to give survivors a chance to relax and stretch. In this session, Scheele focused on breathing exercises and meditation to give attendees a taste of what it feels like when their body completely relaxes. According to Scheele, the practice of yoga and deep breathing can help develop a stronger immune system, reduce stress and increase relaxation.
