Season’s Greetings!

In this holiday season, I am thinking of you! Thank you to the many patients, families, caregivers, healthcare providers, partners, sponsors, volunteer leaders, professional staff, and all who are part of this phenomenal community. You have been a meaningful part of our work to raise awareness, education, and research for gynecologic cancers this year. The work of the Foundation for Women’s Cancer enables cutting edge research in the prevention and treatment of gynecologic cancers and spearheads advocacy, equity, engagement, education, and outreach.

This year, with your help, FWC funded innovations in all five gynecologic cancers, partnered with the WNBA Chicago Sky, disseminated patient education in multiple languages, and reached into historically underserved communities. Additionally, our signature fundraising event Move4Her garnered mass participation nationally and internationally and raised over $450,000 in donations. Our promise is to lend the fuel to new discovery and chart a future of opportunity for the many patients facing these diseases. Going forward, our mission is to assure that all patients recognize the risk factors and symptoms of the five gynecologic cancers.

In the coming year, we look forward to continuation of these powerful efforts and prioritizing the varying needs of our community. With our commitment to discovery and education, we strive to maintain a progressive and inclusive community in which everyone thrives.
