Foundation for Women's Cancer - #MoveTheMessageDid you know nearly 8 in 10 gynecologic oncologists said the biggest barrier to early detection of the 5 gyn cancers is lack of awareness? To change this, the Foundation for Women’s Cancer (FWC) is taking its message directly to communities across the country to drive awareness and support early diagnosis by motivating all people to help #MoveTheMessage.
We were happy to attend the Tulsa Juneteenth Festival this past weekend to do just that! Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth! It was a beautiful festival honoring Juneteenth with huge crowds in the Oklahoma heat. We had so many engaging conversations, talking directly with around 300 mothers, daughters, sisters, brothers and husbands about gyn cancer and raising awareness.
If you or anyone you know is in the St. Louis area, we invite you to stop by the FWC booth at the Fiesta in Florissant on June 25, 2022, at Knights of Columbus Park to pick up free resources and speak with local healthcare professionals.

If you can’t make it, please help us continue to #MoveTheMessage by posting an image of yourself in motion – walking, cycling, dancing, or whatever gets you moving – and tag 5 friends with the message:
